Laura Rea Dickey says that ever since she became Dickey’s Barbeque Restaurants CEO slightly over ten years ago, she started to study what makes various businesses stay afloat. She realized that although the package contains a list of items, top of the agenda is advertising. Yes, the power of tweaking words is one of the things Laura Rea Dickey learnt could ensure her family business remained afloat.
Thankfully, the CEO says she has over the past few years employed different high-end marketing campaigns, all of which have shown tremendous results. Dickey’s Barbeque Restaurants was founded in 1941. Back then, the business started with a single unit of a smoker. Today, 80 years later, Dickey’s Barbeque Restaurants has opened several joints. Hitherto, the family-owned business is available in 550 different locations in 44 U.S. states. The current CEO Laura Rea Dickey who comes from the family says she will stop at nothing in her quest to ensure the business stands still.
